Eekore's Ubuntu-based Tablet Focuses On Flexibility

With Apple's iPad tablet computer ramping up to make an impact, it's drawing a lot of headlines, but there is also significant action on the Linux- and Android-based tablet front. As LinuxDevices reports, Italy-based Eekore is offering a tablet PC that runs either Ubuntu or Microsoft Windows. The Eekore ET10TA10 runs an Intel Atom N270 chip. It has a 10.2-inch, 1024 x 600 backlit touchscreen, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard disk. It offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity options, and has a very slick look.You can take a look at the ET10TA10 at Eekore's site.  As the photos above and below show, the tablet offers both touch-screen and stylus input
